I applied to SWGTC but now they say the class is full. What happened?

There are several reasons why students do not get their preferred classes: most relate to timing. Students who apply early usually get their classes. Students who are timely in requesting transient paperwork, usually get their classes. Those who communicate with their school regularly and are informed, usually get their classes.

I have not heard from my online instructor. What should I do?

Students have several options. By clicking on "Online Courses" and looking at the appropriate quarter, students can obtain the email address for their online instructors. Emailing is the best alternative for online students. The Distance Education Coordinator can connect students with instructors should need be.

How do I log into my online course?

The web address for ANGEL is http://southwestgatech.angellearning.com. Student Usernames and Passwords of formatted as follows:

  • Username: 46_student id number (example: 46_910089735)
  • Password: 46_student id number

You will be prompted to change your password when you enter ANGEL.  Please write down this password.

I do not see my question here. What are my options?

Students can direct questions to the appropriate SWGTC distance education department by clicking on "Open A New Ticket." Another option is to email the Distance Education Coordinator, Cheryl Cyrus, at ccyrus@southwestgatech.edu
