Four finalists have been selected from sixteen Southwest Georgia Technical College students who were nominated by their instructors to compete for the 39th Annual Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership. These students were nominated for their leadership, academic accomplishments, career and personal goals according to Ellen Terrell, coordinator for the College’s GOAL program.
“The GOAL program seeks to spotlight the role of technical education in our modern economy and to emphasize the dignity of work,” said Terrell. “We are pleased to recognize the outstanding achievements of these students.” Four finalists in the GOAL program at SWGT will be announced March 5th.
The four finalists at SWGTC are Jessica Hudson (Associate Degree Nursing), Lauren Harnevious (Associate Degree Nursing), Nicole Antoine (Business Administrative Technology), and Ashley Cone (Practical Nursing).
