5th Annual Denim & Diamonds Fundraising Event

This year’s event will be held April 5 at The Barn in Pelham.

Denim and Diamonds is held each year to raise funds to benefit SWGTC students who reside in Mitchell County. “This is an excellent opportunity to assist in helping make technical education available to residents of Mitchell County,” said SWGTC President Dr. Glenn Deibert. Funds raised from the event will be used for academic scholarships and other special assistance programs to make it possible for students to continue their education.

Festivities this year include good food, fellowship, door prizes, and a chance to win a beautiful diamond. The .71 carat diamond is on display at Hodges’ Jewelers in Pelham.

Tickets for the fundraising bash are $100, which admits two and includes a cocktail buffet and prize drawing. To obtain more information or to purchase tickets, call 229-225-3977.
