Welcome to Southwest Georgia Technical College’s Tutoring Center. The center is the place where you can receive academic assistance with specific classes or programs of study. The center provides access to direct one-on-one personal tutoring, video presentations, and computer based learning programs to promote your success at the College. The best part is that we provide a free service to SWGTC students. So come visit and let us help you get on task.
Two SWGTC faculty members, who will help you overcome any learning barriers, staff the center. An extra bonus is that we try to make learning fun. So come visit before class, after class, or between classes. We’re here for you.
The Tutoring Center is conveniently located in Building A, Room #239. We are open during hours that would allow all students, regardless of work and class schedules, to get the assistance they need. Our hours are:
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
Come by and visit, email, or call. We are dedicated to your success. Also, don’t forget to visit the Tutoring Center’s Resource page for extra help after hours. Enter the Tutoring Center’s Resource Page to access online study resources.
