Firearms Training Simulation

Southwest Georgia Technical College in conjunction with the Thomasville Police Department is pleased to now offer state-of-the-art firearms training to law enforcement agencies.  Our Firearms Training Simulator, or F.A.T.S., offers 300-degree, high-definition training that surpasses the simulator training available at the Public Safety Training Simulator in Forsyth, Georgia.

The virtual reality training provided through this system includes warfare, situational awareness, judgmental use-of-force, and marksmanship training, all designed to teach the correct response to real-life circumstances.
