SWGTC Foundation Holds 10th Annual Thomas County Golf Tournament
SWGTC Foundation held its 10th Annual Thomas County Golf Tournament at Glen Arven Country Club, on Monday, May 14, 2012. This annual event raises funds for the College’s Foundation as it provides scholarship assistance, new equipment purchases, and technical upgrades to SWGTC.

SWGTC hosted a Program Shadow Day for Thomasville High School on April 24, 2012. Students from the high school chose a program of interest at SWGTC and spent 2 hours of their day shadowing.

SWGTC hosted a Spring Fling Student Activity Day on Thursday, April 19th. There were many activities for the students to participate in, including trike races, corn toss, volleyball, and a Wii tournament.
SWGTC SKillsUSA Students Participate in Community Service
On Tuesday, April 17, 2012 student members and advisors from SWGTC's SkillsUSA club conducted their annual “Adopt a Mile” highway clean-up service project. Donning orange safety vests, the group collected trash along the shoulders and median of US Highway 19.
